양과 관련된것은 꼭 추가 설명을 넣어야 한다

기본 영어 시간 표현 및 발음 : in 5 days / 5 days from now 💬 " months ", " half "

• 6월 30일 오후 8시에 도착해요.
• It's arriving (It arrives) on June 30th at 8 PM.

• (I'm arriving / I arrive / It's arriving / It arrives ) in 5 days  = 5일뒤에
• in 3 days 3일 안에가 아니라 3일 뒤에라는 뜻
• after은 ~가 끝난 후에 라는 상황에 많이씀

 

• (in two and a half months / two and a half months from now)
• two and a half hours 두시간 반
• one and a half hours 한 시간 반

절대 이해 하고 말고를 떠나서 말로 뱉어서 익히기

I'm thinking of giving my dog a haircut sometime this week. I'm not sure exactly when it's going to be. It depends on when I can get an appointment with a stylist. But I'm hoping that I can give her a trim before friday because I heard it's going to get pretty warm this weekend. 

이번 주 중으로 강아지 미용을 시켜 줄까 하는데 정확히 언제는 확실하지 않아. 미용사랑 언제 예약을 잡을 수 있는지 봐야해. 근데 금요일 전에는 미용을 시킬 수 있으면 좋겠는게 주말에 꽤 따뜻해진다고 들었어.

시급한 영어교정 → since / ago

I've been working since 2011. 2011년 이후로 일을 (계속) 하고 있습니다.
I've been working since I graduated (school). 저는 졸업한 후로 일을 (계속) 하고 있습니다.
I started working 10 years ago. 저는 10년 전에 일을 시작했어요.
I've been working for (the last) 10 years 저는 10년째 일하고 있어요.

I started ~ + since  ( X )   > 그때 이후로 계속 시작하고있다로 해석됨

since 10 years ago ( X )

since와 ago는 같이 쓸 수 없다.

🛠 시급한 영어교정 → later : 올바른 이해와 활용

later 이 ~시간 후에 라는 표현이 아니다 

3일 뒤에 3 days later ( X ) 

3일뒤에 (현재 시점) in 3 days ( O ) / 3 days from now ( O )

앞으로 3일 후에 in the next 3 days

3일 안으로 whihin 3 days (앞으로) 3일 안으로

later 은 기준이 현재만 아니면 된다.  미래나 과거의 기준의 시점 이후로를 말할때 

- I usually get to work at around 9 oclock. My boss usually arrives about half an hour later. 

기준시점 이후로 30분쯤 뒤에 

- Yesterday, I got off work at six and about an hour later, I got a call from my boss.

기준시점 이후로 1시간 뒤에

• 추석은 몇월 며칠이다~ 라고 하는데 영어는 어느 날에 있다라고 표현한다 
• 날짜보다 추석이 아랫단계에 있다고 표현하는듯  >  ( 날짜 ( 명절 ) ) 
• 날짜에서는 서수로 표현하는 것을 생각하자 ( first, 30th)

[ LESSON - 26 ] - 시간표현 PART 03

I go to the gym at least 3 times a week. Twice during weekdays and once on weekends.
On weekdays, I usually go in the morning before I go to work.
On weekends, I like to go early in the afternoon, around 1 o'clock because it's less crowded then.

헬스장에 가요 최소한 1주일에 3번 주중에(평일에) 두번 그리고 주말에는 한 번
평일에는 보통 아침에, 출근하기 전에 가요.
주말에는 이른 오후에 가는걸 좋아해요. 1시쯤에요, 그 시간에 사람이 적은 편이거든요.

Oh, it's been almost a year. I got back early this year in January.
언제 돌아왔어?(=언제 돌아갔어?)
거의 1년 됐어요. 올해 초, 1월에 돌아왔어요.

저 이틀 전에 도착 했어요 : I arrived two days ago.
그녀는 2시간 전에 출발했으니까 지금으로부터 약 1시간 후에 도착할거야.
She left 2 hours ago, so she's going to arrive in about an hour(=about an hour from now)

상품을 며칠 전에 주문했으니까 1주일 쯤 뒤에 도착할거야.
I ordered the product a few days ago, so it's going to arrive in about a week (= about a week from now)

• in two days 2일 후에 
• in a month 한달 뒤에 / 후에
• within two days 2일 안에 / 2일 안으로 
• in about a week 1주일 쯤 뒤에 
• a few days ago 며칠 전에

• (시간의 양) + 전에 ( ago ) 
• today, yesterday, tomorrow 앞에 in/on/at 등 전치사를 붙이지 않는다.
  
• 이틀 후에 : in two days, two days from now(지금으로부터 이틀 후) 
  
• 한달 뒤에 : in a month , a month from now(지금으로부터 한달 후)
