I went to the movies last night / yesterday and i saw a movie that i was really looking forwad to.
but I was so disappointed. I think I had my hopes up too high.
어제 밤에 영화를 보러 극장에 갔다. 정말 기대를 많이 하고 있던 영화를 봤다.
너무 실망했어. 내가 기대를 너무 많이 했던 것 같아.

- 초반에 some 과 any 를 섞어서 말하는게 자연스럽게 보여서 연습하는것을 추천한다
- + left 는 남았어(남아 있다) 라는 뜻
- 무엇이 하나도 없다는 뜻을 표현할때 그냥 복수 취급으로 암기
- 영어에서 시제라는게 분명하기때문에 aren't weren't처럼 언제든지 쓸 수 있게 연습.

It's just that the money is copied. now...it is unmanned period.

But, anyone who has been to IKEA knows how hard it is to stick to a shopping list.
I did end up buying a few things that I wasn't planning to, but I didn't get too carried away.
오늘 이케아에 다녀왔어요. 구체적으로 뭐뭐 살지를 미리 정하고 갔는데
딱 계획했던 것만사는게 얼마나 어려운지, 이케아에 가본 사람이라면 누구나 알거예요.
결국 계획에 없던걸 몇가지 사긴 했는데 그렇게 심하게 하진 않았어요.

I went to a buffet restaurant yesterday. I was on a diet, so I was trying not to eat very much and I had a specific list of foods to eat but anyone who has been to buffet restaurants knows how hard it is to be patient in front of foods. I did end up eating a few things that I wasn't planning to but I didn't get too carried away.

- get ~ carried away 지나치게 ~하다, 과하게 ~하다.
- 위 문장에서 list 라는 뜻이 목록이 아니라 미리 정하다 라는 뜻도 있다.
- 이해는 한번만 하고 전체적으로 암기해서 익숙하게 만드는게 가장 중요하다. 암기 했으면 그 형식에 단어만 바꿔서 나만의 문장으로 만드는게 가장 중요.
- 나만의 문장 ex) 이케아에 가본 사람이라면 누구나 알거예요 > 식당에 가본 사람이라면 누구나 모를거에요
- we need to stick to our original plan 우리의 원래 계획에서 벗어나지 않고 원래대로 하자

I have a friend whose birthday is coming up. And yesterday i went out and got him a gift.
Actually, his birthday is next month but he’s going overseas on business soon so i wanted to give it io him before he left.
곧 생일인 친구가 있다. 그래서 어제 나가서 걔한테 줄 선물을 샀다.
사실 걔 생일은 다음달인데 걔가 곧 해외출장을 나가서 떠나기 전에 주고 싶었다.

- 일정상에 잡혀있는건 현재 진행형 사용 ( 다음달에 떠나요 > 다음달에 떠나는데 현재처럼 얘기한다)

I have this neighbor. A woman. I think she's around my age and she has this really weird habit of stopping me when I'm on my way out to talk about just random things that aren't really that important.
I've tried telling her that I was busy but I think she just really likes to talk.
저한테 어떤 이웃이 한 명 있는데요, 여자분이요. 제 나이 쯤 되는 것 같은데, 이상하게, 제가 어디 나가는 길일 때 저를 멈춰 세워놓고 그다지 중요하지 않은 이런 저런 얘기를 계속하세요.

오늘 아침에 일어나서 배가 좀 고프더라고요. 보통은 한 주 동안 먹고 남은 음식이 있어서 그걸로 대충 때울텐데, 오늘 아침에 보니까 아무것도 없더라고요.
뭐 해먹기 귀찮아서 배달시켜 먹었어요.

Actually, I've already started looking for a new place. I've narrowed my options down to about 3,
but I'm really going to take my time before I decide because I want to make sure (that) I make the best decison
내년 7월에 이사 갈꺼에요, 그때 지금 이 곳 계약이 끝나거든요.
사실은 이미 이사 갈 곳을 찾기 시작했어요. 선택지 3곳으로 좁혓는데요
